lucky penny’s bathroom: scrub-a-dub

lucky penny is almost embarrassed to admit this out loud… but she is 100%, without a doubt, a spa whore. there she said it. let’s not speak of it, again!

just the other day, lucky penny was spotted at her favourite nail bar in yorkville, lux spa. two blissful hours later, she brought home a jar of happiness… pomegranate sugar scrub by lovefresh.

it could be the delightful fragrance, or the bright fuchsia crystals… or simply how soft her skin feels within seconds. all natural, canadian and housed in pretty, elegant packaging.

sweet tooth

lucky penny is known to hoard chocolate of all varieties in her fridge. from peanut butter cups to maltesers. leftover movie theatre m&ms. there may even be a jumbo-sized bag of mini eggs from last easter. oops!

funnily enough… around the corner from her dentist is lux spa. from december 1st to january 7th, lux spa will be collecting non-perishable and baby items for the daily bread food bank, and promises to match every item donated.

this charming, little nail bar will be hosting their first annual choco-lux holiday food drive party tomorrow as a thank you. an extra item will be donated for every choco-lux manicure or pedicure booked that day.

lucky penny will be sipping flavoured hot cocoa next to the chocolate fountain. delish mouthfuls of fruits, marshmallows and biscotti. door prizes (from lux spa, lovefresh and much more) will be given out throughout the day. get involved!
